664 Bergen and 235 St. Marks Rooftops. Each outdoor space is built out with the age of the student users top-of-mind and will include a field, playground, Goggy's Garden, and seating areas for gathering and learning. The 664 Bergen Lobby will serve as the main entryway to welcome students, parents, staff and the larger Brooklyn community into our new home. The Lobby will house an Exhibition Space dedicated in loving memory of Molly and Louis Wolff and will be a gateway to the Ring Family Beit Midrash and our Gymnasium. This space will also be used by the community for weekend events. The Ring Family Beit Midrash will allow Luria students to come together for prayer and learning. The space will house an aaron, a sefer torah, and a library of sifrei kodesh. The space will be available for community rentals and lifecycle events. The Gymnasium will be used daily for physical education classed for K-8th grade. The Gymnasium will also be used for school-wide assemblies and holiday celebrations, Middle School sprts leagues, and community events. The STEAM Lab. Our vision is for our students not only to be conversant with the prevailing technology, but to embrace technology, to learn how to make connections across disciplines, to understand how to be creative, and to understand that risk-taking is not something to be afraid of but something to be celebrated. The Art Studio will be a space designed for students to foster visual expression. It will house studio space and fine art making hardware and software. The Studion will be used by students in K-8 daily and afterschool clubs, and will be available to the community for rental. The new Music Room will provide space for strucured music classes and and will also be available for students clubs, independent practice, and community use.
